We're on Vacation! Pt. 2: San Diego and Venice

We're still on vacation! We are at the half-way point, actually a little past it! You can check-out some of the awesome times we've already had here on the blog. And for now, you can enjoy some photos and stories of what we did during the week (Monday-Thursday) this last week on Friday photos and below.

We carried our bikes up the stairs from our San Diego vacation rental which just feels soooo San Diego.

Taking a bus tour of the San Diego Zoo.

And an aerial view of the zoo.

The sweet giraffes. They also have an aerial view, though I suppose for them it's just a normal view.

So much love for equality in San Diego!!

We biked six miles from our vacation rental to take the ferry to Coronado Island.

Coronado Brewery was our first stop on the island.

Beach!!

San Diego skyline from Coronado Island. There's a naval ship in the foreground which was super cool.

We found another Stone Brewing location in the Gaslamp District in San Diego.

Sweet reminder in San Diego.

Spinning, spinning, spinning cans on canning day (which I think is everyday) at Ballast Point!

LOOK AT ALL THESE BEVERAGES.

Lunch at Blind Lady Ale House on our way out of San Diego. Our server was the best!!

We bought a crowler (can growler) of the Grapefruit Sculpin at Ballast Point and quickly enjoyed it at our garden vacation rental in Venice.

I mean, seriously, check-out this garden. Andy and I spent a lot of time out there. I love renting beautiful places on airbnb.

Our hostesses kitty hanging on the roof. Do not pet this cat's tail; the back is fine and so is the head, but tail is totally off-limits we learned.

Santa Monica Pier at night!!

There was a free concert at the Pier Thursday night and soooo many people were there. We enjoyed much of the music while wading in the ocean and I gotta say that's a damn good Thursday night right there.

Sitting on the life guard stand and directly behind us is a couple just making-out big time.

Andy, Breanna, ocean.
