Christmas Tree and Irish Cream

Andy and I took down our Christmas tree on Saturday (yea, I know it was January 11th - what about it?!). I love having the tree with ornaments from my childhood (and ones Andy's acquired over the last few years) up during the holiday. I grew up having a Christmas tree in the house, so it's not quite Christmas without one.

Since it was so far past the holiday, we felt it appropriate to make the morning teardown special and treated ourselves to the last of Ryan & Shanda's (my bro and sis-in-law) homemade Irish cream, aka "Hanson Irish Cream". Don't worry R&S, we didn't waste a drop of it in our coffee ;)

Our lovely tree and beverages. Santa brought us these sweater wearing glasses, which are perfect for sipping drinks.

"Expires: January 31, 2014" Yeeea, that shouldn't be an issue.

Til next year, purple Christmas tree lights.

I must take a break; I am parched.

When do you take down your tree? Please, someone tell me you still have your tree up.

Aw, what a bummer! I bet you could find one on craigslist off-season as people are cleaning out their homes.
